Conference on Applied Linguistics (CONAPLIN) is a publication of the Language Center of Indonesia University of Education. It is published twice a year in January and August. The Journal presents theoretical and practical studies on language and language-related concerns.

AIMS
The aim of this journal is to promote a principled approach to research on language and language-related concerns by encouraging enquiry into relationship between theoretical and practical studies. The journal welcomes contributions in such areas of current analysis as First and Second Language Teaching and Learning, Language in Education, Language Planning, Language Testing, Curriculum Design and Development, Multilingualism and Multilingual Education, Discourse Analysis, and Translation
NOTES TO CONTRIBUTORS
Articles submitted to the Journal should normally be no longer than 6,000 words, and should accompanied by an abstract (not more than 250 words and 3-8 key words), containing a summary of the conceptual content of the article, and about four to six keywords should appear together with the main body of the article. The Journal operates a peer review process and promotes blind reviewing. To facilitate this process, author’s names and institutional affiliations should appear only on a detachable cover sheet. Articles submitted will not normally be returned. Articles should be in English.
Hard copy should be printed in double space, font size 11, Times New Roman, top and left margin 1.2 inch, bottom and right margin 1 inch, printed in Letters. Footnotes should appear at the end of the text, not at the foot of the relevant page. References should be included at the end of the article in the following examples:
